Pamela Morris

Pam Morris has a strong background in executive support. This is her second term of service to the Commission on African American Affairs.  In the mid-1990s, she served as Confidential Secretary to prior Commission directors James Kelly and Tony Orange, overseeing budget and contracting activities, helping prepare the budget request and legislative decision packages, and performing various other services essential to Commission operations.

 

Before that, she was an administrative secretary in the Department of Social and Health Services, Medical Assistance Administration where she coordinated support for multiple managers. 

 

Her professional background includes experience in credit/debt analysis, high dollar value commerical debt collection, and customer service in various settings.  She holds a certificate in Small Business Management from Bates Technical College, a certificate in Bank Teller Services from the Teller Training Institute, and other credentials in liability prevention and customer service.
