Health Gap Reflects History of Racism and Mistrust

Black people are more likely than Whites to contract certain illnesses, to get less effective medical treatment, and to die prematurely. This means that we have an "unequal opportunity" to be healthy. This health gap must be closed and education is the most important tool available to close it.
