Wilmington On Fire

The award-winning documentary “Wilmington on Fire” makes its Washington State debut at The Northwest African American Museum to commemorate the 140th year of the end of Reconstruction, March, 30 1877. “Wilmington on Fire” is a documentary about the 1898 massacre in Wilmington, NC that unseated a multi-racial elected government which led to Jim Crow Segregation. A talkback with filmmaker, Christopher Everett, will follow the screening. Admission: Free.
